He donated hand painted t-shirts and conducted a lecture/workshop that engaged the students and taught them the importance of education, creativity and entrepreneurship. This was an eye-opening experience being allowed to realize within the capacity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals around the world.

This exposed him to the harsh realities of those who are impoverished and lack resources to gain an education or employment. He vividly remembers the kids in the camp would not beg for money, rather, they asked directly for school supplies, art supplies, and books to read. They were eager to get an education, but there was no way to achieve this with poor infrastructure and a lack of teachers. It was a pivotal moment for Williams that his potential to make a difference and help those in need.

2017 Cuba

This project was the catalyst that pushed Williams to start Paint the Globe Foundation nonprofit organization. He was successful with conducting the art workshops and delivering all the supplies to the children and the staff at 'La Casa del ninos y ninas,' a community education center in Havana Cuba. He clearly remembers the feeling of euphoria knowing that he was able to make a difference in the lives of others. It was then when he knew it was time to form the organization and help others on a more consistent basis.
